Lamborghini Sián: A new revolution in the hybrid sphere.

A Masterpiece in Possibilities!

September 14 ,2019

The Lamborghini Sian FKP 37 is the newest in the Lamborghini family and pays homage to the legendary Ferdinand K Peich with it’s FKP 37 suffix. Piech, who was the grandson of Ferdinand Porsche, was instrumental in shaping VW AG to what it is today. The Sianhas peaked when it comes to innovation with its thermal and electric power of 819 hp (602 kW), something that Piech would definitely approve of.Surprisingly, all the 63 build are already sold that will soon be seen flashing on the city roads with its dynamic case body smashing through its own lights.

Moving into the Automobili Lamborghini world of tech and design; they never let an enthusiast down. Breaking the old rules of machines, Lamborghini has created a world first application of a supercapacitor for hybridization and new materials technology. Is it all a lucid dream that we are sailing towards new innovations day by day?! Where we get to see that the Sián adopts the V12 as the pinnacle of today’s Lamborghini engines and develops a new super sports car powertrain: a unique new hybrid system which focuses on providing the highest power possible via the lightest solution.

What would you say about a flash of connection between an electric motor and the wheels? That’s endearing to even guess the speed of the immediate response that car might get in all chances that covers parking and reversing as well. Rather than a lithium-ion battery the Sián innovates supercapacitor application: a technology pioneered originally in the Lamborghini Aventador but dramatically developed to store ten times the power. It gives three times more power than usualand is three times lighter to the original; now this is something that can light up than the old speed and rush far beyond imagination. The electric system with the supercapacitor and e-motor weighs only 34 kg, thus it delivers a remarkable weight-to-power ratio of 1.0 kg/hp.

Some might believe in the power of raw bursts but the future has bought the necessity over the changed electric power outcome. This hybrid power to weight ratio will bring a lot more value to this now world and that too better than that of an Aventador SVJ. The Sián reaches a top speed of over 350 km/h. Well, now let’s talk about the symmetric value where the batteries are charged when every time the vehicle breaks. The energy stored gives the vehicle a boost that acceleratesupto 130 km/h with the increased torque which automatically disconnects boosting the car 10 times faster than a car without a system. The innovative system also delivers instant acceleration in low gears, with improved traction force provided by the combination of V12 engine and hybrid system.

63 unique pieces, the Sián will be the haute couture of cars.Styling elements that holds the brand to be unique and one of a kind; Lamborghini knows it all well. With each 63 pieces individually will be designed by its owner to their taste with a little help of Lamborghini’s Ad Personam division.

“The fastest Lamborghini must be a visual and symphonic feast, as remarkable to those who see it pass by as those privileged to drive it, “says Mitja Borkert, Head of Designat Automobili Lamborghini. Sián being the futuristic icon and a super sports car will surely deliver the promise of force and speed, we hope the potential of hybridization becomes more desirable with in more upcoming supercars and first step to electrification that will soon bring more thrills with its design elements to this inevitably essential polluted world.
