An exclusive event dedicated to a selected number of guests, the Maserati experience combines a thoroughbred of the sea and one of the road. Guests will enjoy the unique opportunity to sail on board the Maserati VOR 70, a 70ft monohull skippered by Giovanni Soldini and his crew and to drive the latest models in the Maserati Range.

Sharing common values, a passion for the sea and sporting performance, Maserati has joined forces with one of the most prestigious yacht clubs in the world, the Yacht Club de Monaco, as Official Car and has become a member of the YCM Partners Club. The partnership was announced in June 2014 at the inauguration of the new YCM Clubhouse, designed by Norman Foster and already hailed as the new symbol of the Principality of Monaco. As a member of the YCM Partners Club, Maserati is present at the most important events organized by the Club and has access to the exclusive Clubhouse rooms for private events, starting with the Maserati Drive&Sail.

Skipper Giovanni Soldini and his crew set a new record on the Tea Route between Hong Kong and London earlier this year. They will showcase the Maserati Multi70 flying skills in the Mediterranean sea and Atlantic ocean.

Post which the experience transforms into an exciting and scenic roadtrip, where the latest models in the Maserati Range are available to drive including the Levante SUV, the Quattroporte flagship and the Ghibli sports saloon. The customers are handed over these cars with additional support and expert support and guidance from the Master Maserati drivers on scenic routes, to complete this unbeatable Drive&Sail Experience.

Thought to be present at each Drive&Sail as an integral part of the visual set-up, the limited edition Car Port created by Frigerio Living for Maserati provides a unique display area for Maserati cars. Each example is individually numbered and autographed by Giovanni Soldini and completely made in Italy using the very finest, environmentally-friendly materials.

Sail fabric is used for the covering and depicts the exact route of the most recent record beaten in 2014 by the Italian sailor aboard the Maserati VOR 70: the Cape Town - Rio de Janeiro. Thanks to the innovative Frigerio design, Buonvento is essentially also a lounge area, an island of elegance and exclusivity. Designed for cars, it was also created for people.

Even in the world of food, the answer is a wonderful challenge, the beginning of a painstaking search with often surprising results. Results that will be enjoyed during the Drive & Sail dinner, thanks to a menu specially created by an important italian “star” chef: Moreno Cedroni. The menu will represent the best of Italian creative cooking skills, based on the suggestions of the Chef in relation to the best, most energetic, and healthiest there is to eat at sea on board a boat and before a journey at the wheel of a car. A multisensory experience where mind and taste, health and pleasure intertwine emotionally and indissolubly together with the sensations of the Drive and Sail experience.
