Based on a Mercedes 37/90 Sport-Phaeton, the Romfell Model 1915 was an armored car introduced in 1915 for use by the Austro-Hungarian army in World War I. Built to match the armored car-equipped units of the Russian and Italian armies it faced, the Romfell possessed a number of advanced features, including angled side armor that multiplied its effective thickness, and a fully-rotating turret containing a Schwarzlose Model 07/12 on its roof.

Every model is handcrafted a single piece at a time with the idea of achieving a model as close to the real machine as possible. Often the paint finish is done to replicate an in use machine for further realism. 

The models are made from styrene and painted with accurate shades of paints. Each model can take between 25-100 hours to make, is extremely unique once finished and therefore of collector grade value.
