Aerosani means airplane engine powered snow sled in Russian and these vehicles were very common in erstwhile USSR to traverse its vast expanses of snow. This particular model here is finished as a machine use by Russian postal service. 

Every model is handcrafted a single piece at a time with the idea of achieving a model as close to the real machine as possible. Often the paint finish is done to replicate an in use machine for further realism. 

The models are made from styrene and painted with accurate shades of paints. Each model can take between 25-100 hours to make, is extremely unique once finished and therefore of collector grade value.
