It was a lumpy start for our fast cars!
Unfolding the car scenes after 47’
August 13 ,2021
It was then when we fantasied the poster cars to the 40’s that we started our own production here in India. The bitter taste of black and white eventually made it to colours which made the car scene even more supreme to buy what was four wheeled luxury to the most.
With the dominators like Hindustan Motors and Fiat, international brands struggled to land on the Indian soil that paved their way in after the Post-Economic Liberalisation Era when these trophy cars would enter into the country through collaborations and partnerships. The first five years the Indian roads could see brands like Mercedes-Benz, Ford, Honda, Fiat, Hyundai and many more to say.

Low buying rates and stagnant brands to this industry made it to a new policy in 2002 that attracted more madness and massive buying with Audi, BMW, Volkswagen, and the most loved Porsche to raise a better car craze amongst the Indians. Not just the policy that changed the automotive wheel but the 10 year Automotive Mission Plan that retained the international interests in India.
The Mission plan gave our engineers the boost to create our own set of India made luxury passenger cars that made us the 4th largest car manufacturer in the world. With ballooning growth, Lamborghini entered India in 2006 with its hot Gallardo and Murcielago. With an opponents high score in India Ferrari too jumped into the pull of Indian market for its enthusiasts.

With a growing scale of luxury cars like Rolls-Royce, Maserati and more so giving India a true taste of international automobiles and machines. We are happy to have them and our in-house plants and brands those who cater to our daily driving experiences with Indian cars to its best. Hoping for more miles of collaborative growth to drive our dream cars here in our country. Wishing a Happy Independence Day!
