On the eve of the 2019 season, the latest McLaren GT4 customer team to be confirmed is Andretti Autosport. The leading US-based racing team will campaign a McLaren 570S GT4 in the GT4 America Series, with driver Jarett Andretti. This announcement builds on the relationship between McLaren and Andretti Autosport that started in 2017, when two-time Formula One World Champion, Fernando Alonso competed for Andretti Autosport in the Indianapolis 500. 

The 2019 season marks the third year of the 570S GT4 competing with customer teams, having already achieved significant success around the world. The latest addition to the GT4 America Series will be supplied by McLaren Philadelphia, one of the specialist Official Motorsport Retailers in a network established within the McLaren global retail network in 2018. These retailers are strategically located across the different regions, each being approved to sell McLaren motorsport models, as well as offering motorsport support and service to customers and teams.

Andretti, a graduate of North Carolina State University, lives in Indianapolis and races full-time. The third-generation racer is the son of John Andretti, the grandson of Aldo Andretti and the great-nephew of Mario Andretti.
